⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emily Crenner: DJ Sep helped make our staff holiday party a huge success!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Richie Lipton: As the talent buyer at NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences (a weekly event of 2k+ guests), I can say that Sep is one of my favorite DJs to book! Always on time and professional and always does a great job of setting a fun tone for the night!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tyler Bertao: We had DJ Sep at a Member event for SFMOMA and it was perfect! She was such a fun vibe and played such great hits! Will definitely be having her again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Weyland Southon: I booked DJ Sep for a Sunday afternoon ‘Dub Brunch’ at Victory Hall in San Francisco. I already knew she was a legendary dub reggae DJ (she did not disappoint!), but I was super-impressed with her professionalism and how organized she is. She pulls her weight with promotions and marketing as well. We were so happy with the music, the vibes, the overall experience — that we’ve already booked another Dub Brunch and are looking forward to doing many more.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kate Wilusz: DJ Sep is a Bay Area legend who has given us more than two decades of dub, dance hall, drum and bass and everything in between. I had Sep spin for my birthday party and she had the crowd dancing. I’ve been fielding a lot of texts since asking “how do I find that DJ?” and saying “damn, that was an amazing set”.
Sep wove together the classics, some dope new music coming straight out of Jamaica, dance hall and some old school hip hop- exactly what I had asked for. Scratch that, it was more than I asked for! Sep was super professional, prepared and responsive in the lead up to the event. Big ups to this incredibly talented lady! May she spin far and wide for many more decades to come!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jeff Feinman: DJ Sep brought her talents and great taste in music to my home for my 50th birthday. I had long respected Sep’s place in the Bay Area reggae Hall of Fame so calling upon her to bring the reggae tunes to my home was a no-brainer. She is such a friendly soul, great listener, easy going and flexible, and expert communicator leading up to the event. My only regret was I set-up the dj rig inside while most of the party happened outside on my deck. A missed opportunity–but that was my fault. Most importantly, the vibe she built made it easier to swallow the pill of growing old. 100% would hire her again–my friends love her set. In fact, I’m trying to find a good reason to throw another party just so I can hook up with Sep again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sam Kandoth: One word amazing – Sep came early to setup, took time to understand location of speakers for best acoustics – we had a phenomenal night.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jonathan Wright: An amazing legend of the Bay Area and beyond. She has represented music of various genres that focus on cultural expressions of the African Diaspora. Her relentless style has been an inspiration to me and many others who enjoy everything from reggae and dub to jungle and drum and bass. Always a fresh mix being spun by her magic hands. Thanks for your years of engagement with New Bohemia NYE put on by Vau de Vire Society. Let’s go!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steffen Franz: DJ Sep is one of a kind. Her music and selection is top notch. She has been a force in reggae and world music in the Bay Area and beyond for many years! Five Stars!!
